The company's flagship product, QuantaStor, is an iSCSI / FC / NFS storage system platform built from the ground up to be easy to use, low cost, and scalable. The QuantaStor Storage Appliance OS enables cloud service providers to convert commodity 64bit servers into an enterprise grade storage system quickly and easily, and our QuantaStor E Series storage systems provide service providers and end-customers with a turn key solution for on-premises clouds and large scale archiving applications. Using a QuantaStor E Series system customers can replicate volumes and network shares to/from their cloud service provider for easy migration of applications to/from the cloud and for disaster recovery.
Beyond the advanced iSCSI / FC storage system capabilities QuantaStor has a number of unique features including multi-tenancy via our 'private storage cloud' feature which enables administrators to delegate storage and its management to end users in their private storage cloud(s). This capability is key to supporting the multi-tenant environments deployed by cloud service providers and large organizations. With multi-tenancy and our advanced RBAC model QuantaStor is enabling administrators with powerful new tools for storage automation and delegation of common storage management tasks.

Management

QuantaStor was founded in January 2010 by Steven Umbehocker. Steve has worked in enterprise storage for over 14 years as a former Engineering Director at Citrix Systems and prior to that Technical Director at Symantec / VERITAS Software.
