Deploying new Ceph Clusters and creating pools for file, block, and object storage can be done completely via the web user interface in as little as ten minutes. QuantaStor storage grids can manage multiple Ceph Clusters making multisite management and remote replication easy.
Deep Hardware Integration
QuantaStor’s integrated hardware management system actively monitors all key hardware elements including power, fans, thermals, disk and flash media health, external enclosures, and more. Enclosure management within QuantaStor shows per vendor drive slot layout and automatically beacons devices requiring replacement.
Advanced Security Features
QuantaStor’s robust security system covers many aspects of data protection including AES-256 bit XTS encryption, HIPAA & NIST 800-53-171 compliance with audit logging, password policy enforcement, and integrated firewall management, FIPS 140-2 management module for generation of encryption keys, multi-factor authentication, Role-based Access Control (RBAC) and more. In addition, QuantaStor now contains S3 Object Locking for data governance and compliance policy enforcements.
