Alerts and Configuration Analysis

  • Raise alerts when OSDs are down. [ QSTOR-11415 ]

Ceph Scale-out Block, Object and File

  • Fixed an issue with object user create under a tenant with multi-site is enabled for two zones. [ QSTOR-11427 ]

  • Fix an issue with bucket sync policy create on the secondary zone bucket. [ QSTOR-11426 ]

  • Allow selection of any object gateway when setting up ceph multi-site configuration. [ QSTOR-11409 ]

Enclosures and Controllers

  • Adds enclosure management support for Supermicro Server SSG-522B-ACR12L [ QSTOR-11422 ]

  • Change external volumes, media and volume grids from grouping to non-grouping for a minor performance improvement. Re-order Corvault columns in central grid (External Systems). Only show volumes for the currently selected Corvault. [ QSTOR-11370 ]

High Availability Failover

  • Added a check to the site cluster to ensure that a user cannot set the final active node in a site cluster into standby. This is to prevent all nodes in a site cluster or HA pair from both being in standby and not serving any resources. [ QSTOR-11402 ]

Network Interfaces

  • Fixed an issue where modifying the iscsi/nvme portal port settings on a VLAN or VIF interface would cause the parent interface to be restarted [ QSTOR-11406 ]

  • Fixed an issue with importing LACP options in the /etc/network/interfaces file. [ QSTOR-11396 ]

  • Updated the LACP bond-xmit-hash-policy options to use the modern text option names instead of the legacy numerical values. [ QSTOR-11396 ]

Network Shares

  • Added 'qs-util nfsrdma' command to enable nfs rdma support for systems that have NFS RDMA supported hardware and drivers. [ QSTOR-11309 ]

  • Auto detect when the AD server goes down and raise an alert. [ QSTOR-11182 ]

  • Fixed issues with SSSD AD Join [ QSTOR-11335 ]

SNMP

  • Updated SNMP MIB [ QSTOR-11428 ]

  • Fixed a few items related to the SNMP agent stability. [ QSTOR-11405 ]

  • Added logic to ensure new nodes joined to the grid get the snmp agent deployed on them with the same settings and snmp user. [ QSTOR-11393 ]

Security

  • Removed default nginx index.html and version reporting from nginx. [ QSTOR-11351 ]

Service Core

  • Extended timeout values for coordinated task finishing stage throughout the service. This will help prevent grid communication errors that are caused in high latency environments. [ QSTOR-11421 ]

  • Enhanced grid logic for High Latency multi-site deployments. [ QSTOR-11391 ]

Upgrade Manager and Installer

  • Added protections to ensure zfs pools are not imported incorrectly on a passive HA node during upgrade processes that update the grub configuration. [ QSTOR-11413 ]

Web Manager

  • Add a tooltip to the Force checkbox on the Storage System Restart and Shutdown dialogs to clarify it's for immediate, unclean shutdowns. [ QSTOR-11381 ]
