Alerts and Configuration Analysis

  • Add a 'Skip log server ping pre-checks' checkbox to the Send Support Logs dialog. The server will skip ping checks during log upload when the checkbox is checked. [ QSTOR-11397 ]

Disk Management

  • Added logic to make SED Locking status consistent between QuantaStor Scale-Up ZFS HA Storage Pools. Note: Pools must have an HA group and HA Vif and be activated. [ QSTOR-11515 ]

  • Added error counters for disks with available columns in the center grid view of the Physical Disks section. [ QSTOR-11308 ]

Enclosures and Controllers

  • Added Enclosure layout support for Supermicro SSG-542B-DE1CR90 [ QSTOR-11572 ]

  • This feature allows servers equipped with the Xinnor XiRAID software [ QSTOR-11374 ]

*  Create a XiRAID raid unit, which appears as a QS HwUnit. [ QSTOR-11374 ]
*  This HwUnit entity is surfaced in Quantastor as a physical disk drive. [ QSTOR-11374 ]
*  The physical disks that are used to create the XiRaid unit are surfaced as HwDisks.[ QSTOR-11374 ]
*  The creation includes a variable number of partitions on said physical disk.[ QSTOR-11374 ]
*  These partitions are also surfaced as QS physical disks.[ QSTOR-11374 ]
*  These partition-based physical disks can be used to create Ceph OSD objects. [ QSTOR-11374 ]

High Availability Failover

Multitenancy

  • Changed Object User Create dialog text to more accurately reflect that it refers to Object Users/Tenants, and not Multitenancy objects [ QSTOR-9803 ]

Network Interfaces

  • Fixed an issue where MTU values were being written to the VLAN interface configuration files. [ QSTOR-11552 ]

Network Shares

  • Added further checks to Network Share Delete to verify the underlying ZFS filesystem properties has a matching OSNEXUS QuantaStor share ID before removing. [ QSTOR-11525 ]

  • Auto populate the AD dialog with Organization Unit of specified on other systems in the grid [ QSTOR-11519 ]

  • Add more options to filter shares in the delete dialog [ QSTOR-11499 ]

Remote Replication, Snapshots and Backup Policies

  • Adds a new '--snapshots-with-holds-only' option to qs share-list and volume-list to list snapshots with holds on them. [ QSTOR-11388 ]

SNMP

  • Update SNMP MIB [ QSTOR-11602 ]

Security

  • When updating a certificate via cert-update, the relevant service (e.g. HAProxy) is now

automatically restarted to pick up the new certificate. Additionally, cert-update and cert-rescan now accept the storage system by name or UUID. [ QSTOR-11529 ]

  • Updated WebUI to have System Use Notification dialog/message display before user login dialog. [ QSTOR-11174 ]

Service Core

  • Strip any invalid XML characters from description fields causing WebUI to not load [ QSTOR-11566 ]

  • Cleaned up some repetitive log spam from the Blink Manager and the storcli hardware adappter [ QSTOR-11551 ]

  • Fixed event spam and potential crash during Ceph daemon upgrade on large grids. [ QSTOR-11510 ]

  • Fixed a throw in the qstorservice package install if the radosgw-admin command is not available [ QSTOR-11579 ]

  • Fixed the qs-upgrade for kernel upgrades to ensure recommended packages for qstortarget are installed if they were previously manually removed. [ QSTOR-11556 ]

Web Manager

  • When selecting Create Share from an existing selected share in the tree view, ensure the correct Storage Pool is selected in the Create Share dialog. [ QSTOR-11591 ]

  • Create a new share template system for users to reuse settings from existing network shares. [ QSTOR-11314 ]
