Release Notes

Ceph Scale-out Block, Object and File

  • Eliminated daily Ceph monitor outage on coordinator nodes caused by the mon-db backup process; the backup now uses a RocksDB compaction flush and hot-copy so the monitor service remains running throughout, and backup activity is now logged to qs_service.log. [ QSTOR-11655 ]

Enclosures and Controllers

  • Fixed issue regarding hwController/hwEnclosure double discovery caused by the presence of certain Dell HBA cards that are visible to both the storcli and perccli CLI tools. [ QSTOR-11372 ]

Network Interfaces

  • Fixed an issue with the allowed portals for iscsi and nvme being updated on network ports or having the settings retained on HA VIFs. [ QSTOR-11659 ]

Remote Replication, Snapshots and Backup Policies

  • Improvements in the replication reports. [ QSTOR-11644 ]

Service Core

  • Updated task output for storage system modify to improve clarity [ QSTOR-11660 ]

  • Coordinated Task (CCT) Reliability Improvements — Fixed an issue on large or heavily-loaded Ceph clusters where CCT broadcasts could silently hang until timeout. [ QSTOR-11648 ]

Upgrade Manager and Installer

  • Updated kmod and libkmod2 packages for ubuntu jammy and focal platforms to disable algif_aead and address CVE-2026-31431 [ QSTOR-11670 ]
